Love.Golf™ Tees Off with Roaring Success!
Love.Golf™, a groundbreaking initiative designed to introduce more women to the benefits of golf, celebrated a hugely successful launch event at London Airlinks Golf Course, with over 50 women attending, the majority of whom were new to the sport.
The event, held on Saturday, May 11th, far exceeded expectations, highlighting a significant appetite among women to explore golf in a welcoming and accessible environment. Love.Golf™, created by a community of PGA professionals, aims to promote the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of golf, particularly in urban areas.
Sukh Deol, Centre Manager at London Airlinks Golf Course, expressed his delight at the turnout: “We received an overwhelming response to the launch event. The demand was so high that we even had to recruit more coaches to accommodate everyone! It’s clear there’s a real desire for women to get involved in golf, and Love.Golf provides the perfect platform.”

The initiative focuses on creating a fun, social, and non-intimidating entry point to golf, moving away from traditional perceptions and highlighting the sport’s potential as a valuable activity for health and happiness. The success at London Airlinks Golf Course is a strong indicator of Love.Golf’s potential to encourage greater participation and diversify the sport.
Sukh continues: “Following the successful launch event, our coach Chris Fenn is offering a 6-week Love.Golf Women’s Golf Academy Programme, helping new golfers learn all the essential golfing fundamentals to get them confidently hitting the fairways. London Airlinks Golf Course offers a welcoming and inclusive environment, with excellent facilities and a commitment to growing the game, it serves as a key hub for golf development in the London area.”
