The days are getting longer. The Masters is around the corner. That can only mean one thing… a fresh new golf season is bursting onto the scene, promising sunshine, laughter, and maybe, just maybe, a few less lost balls.

The excitement is building here at Windmill Hill Golf Centre. We’re thrilled to provide you with an exclusive, insider’s look at our preparations for a truly exceptional summer of golf.

Make 2025 Your Best Golfing Year Ever!

There’s so much to look forward to as we head into a new golf season, but it’s also a good time to give yourself a check-in.

Honestly, who isn’t feeling totally swamped these days? Work, online life, it’s relentless. But what if I told you there’s a way to reclaim some peace? Turns out, golf could be your secret weapon for a healthier, happier you.

Golf Course Update

We are pleased to announce the course is fully reopened. The greens were recently hollow cored and top dressed; we expect to see noticeable improvements in their condition within the next two weeks.

To address winter drainage issues, we are installing new drainage ditches on holes 4, 5, 6, and 7, and extending/deepening existing ditches on holes 11 and 15.

Upcoming Events

The Bletchley Golf Club men’s section, located at Windmill Hill Golf Centre, has commenced its 2024 season with a “winners’ medal” qualifier. Dennis Prosser secured victory with a nett score of 74. The seniors’ and ladies’ sections will begin their competitive seasons in early April 2025.

With the golf season rapidly approaching, April is bursting with golfing offers. Anticipation is already building for the Masters, where we’ll unveil a spectacular weekend of deals celebrating the year’s first major.

Immediately following, enjoy our Bank Holiday Weekender promotion during the first long weekend of 2025. April is shaping up to be a phenomenal month for golfers!

Clubhouse & Hospitality

From 1 April the clubhouse will return to its usual summertime opening hours, and therefore closing at 8:30pm. This also means the driving range opening hours will be extended by a further 90 minutes.

Snacks, soft drinks are available from reception to purchase before, during or after your round of golf. Alcoholic drinks can also be purchased from our well stocked bar.

This Spring also sees the launch of our new range of Golf Day packages. Designed for groups of 12 of more golfers, you can choose from our popular ready-made packages or mix & match to create your own. Click here to find out more.

Team Update

Huge congratulations to Jamie Toman, our amazing course ranger, who’s just won Employee of the Quarter! He’s been an absolute superstar these past few months. Seriously, he’s battled through some awful conditions, dealt with a super muddy outfield, and even hand-washed all the balls. Plus, with the ball dispenser broken, he hauled them all up to reception himself! Thankfully, that’s finally fixed. Well done, Jamie!

Community Outreach

Windmill Hill Golf Centre is an important social hub, deeply rooted in the local community’s history. We continue to host a walk in coffee morning on Monday mornings. This is available free of charge, and the group is designed so people can meet and chat about anything over a nice hot cup of tea or coffee.
