Everyone welcome, especially newcomers!

The driving range is the perfect place to dip your toe into golfing waters. Likewise, if you’re a seasoned expert then it’s your ‘go to’ place to hone your skills or warm up before the big game.

So whether you’re a ‘golf curious’ first timer or coming back for more, we’re looking forward to welcoming you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We normally offer free loan clubs for range users, however these are temporarily unavailable due to COVID safety measures. We are asking customers to bring their own clubs in the meantime.

Driving range options

There’s no need to book – simply turn up and purchase a bucket of balls from our contactless dispenser (£6 per bucket of 50 balls). Digicards offer even better value and convenience – available to purchase online or instore.

What are the opening hours?

The driving range is open from 07:30 til dusk, 7 days a week.

What COVID safety measures do you have in place?

We have carried out a risk assessment and have the following measures in place:

  • No more than 1 person per bay.
  • One way system to the bays.
  • Contactless payment at the dispenser.
  • Buckets are sanitised after each use.

How much does it cost to use the range?

A bucket of 50 range balls is £6. Pay at the contactless ball dispenser – there’s no need to book.

If you’re a regular user, then you’ll make big savings by purchasing a Digicard. Buy online or instore.

Can anyone use the driving range?

Our driving range is open to everyone – newcomers and novices are especially welcome!

Do I have to bring my own clubs?

We normally provide clubs free of charge, but due to current COVID safety measures we are asking all customers to bring their own equipment.

Do I have to book to use driving range?

No, there’s no need to book a bay. Simply turn up and purchase a bucket of balls from the contactless dispenser, which accepts all debit & credit cards except Amex.

Is parking available?

Yes there is plenty of free parking, right next to the driving range.

Is the driving range floodlit?

Richmond Park is a nature reserve, so to help protect its unique ecology we limit light pollution after dark. This is why there is no floodlighting on our driving range.

How many bays does the driving range have?

There are a total of 20 bays – 12 covered and 8 outdoor.
