Opened in 1924 as a place where ‘royalty and artisans are equally welcome’, Richmond Park Golf Course was truly ahead of its time in offering affordable golf for all.
Timeline
1924
The 18-hole Prince's Course opened and local artisans founded Richmond Park Golf Club.
1925
Due to popular demand, a second 18-hole course was built called the Duke's, opened by The Duke of York.
1985
Both courses were modernised by Hawtree Co, descendants of original family of course architects.
2014
The new clubhouse at Chohole Gate was opened by HRH Princess Alexandra.
2024
Richmond Park Golf Club celebrates its Centenary year in 2024!
