Lockdown Easing Announcement 01/07/20

The latest coronavirus update from Richmond Park Golf Course

Dear Customer,

The Prime Minister has announced further easing of the lockdown rules and a change to social distancing guidelines from 4th July.

Pubs, restaurants and other public places will be allowed to reopen, providing they adhere to new COVID-19 secure guidelines.

We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved since we reopened on 15th May, as golf courses were among the first businesses to reopen after lockdown. We’ve put a huge effort into making your visit both safe and enjoyable, which has been acknowleged in the many positive comments we’ve received from you, the customer.

We plan to carefully phase the reopening our clubhouse and food & beverage services from mid-July. Running a golf venue is a complex operation and we’ll only reopen this part of our premises when we know it will be 100% safe to do so.

Our priority continues to be the safety and welfare of our community of staff and customers. We will be carefully reviewing how the pub & restaurant industry manage the reopening of their doors this weekend, as there will undoubtedly be some learning points.

We’ll be in touch soon to confirm our reopening schedule for our clubhouse and food & beverage service. Our golf courses, driving range and lessons will continue to operate as before.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing on the fairways in July and beyond.

Please get in touch if you have any queries.

Best regards

Jon Dummett
