Tilgate Forest Golf Centre Hosts Summer Texas Scramble

Tilgate Forest Golf Centre is proud to announce they are hosting the inaugural Summer Texas Scramble. Featuring teams of 4 playing in 2 different competitions throughout the day starting with a closest to the pin competition on their state of the art Toptracer driving range.
Situated in the heart of Tilgate Park’s 2000 acre estate, its treelined fairways have drawn comparisons to the UK’s finest woodland courses, such as Woburn and Wentworth. However, instead of paying many £100s for a green fee ticket, you can enjoy epic golf at Tilgate Forest and still have plenty of change for a beer & burger after your round.
The Texas Summer Scramble will be hosting 3 feature events that will allow teams of 4 to compete with each other throughout a day packed with golf.
Starting at 7.30 am competitors will be playing a closet to the pin competition on Tilgate’s state of the art Toptracer range whilst being fuelled by bacon and sausage rolls. The next event will continue at 10.00 am with a shotgun start for all teams, this will set off the start of 18 hole match with the best score being the victor. To finish off the day prizes and a delighful BBQ made by our team will let our teams relax after a hard fought competition.
Prizes will be awarded to those in the closest the pin competition as well as the furthest drive of the day. The winning team of the 18 hole round will be awarded with trophies and bragging rights in Tilgate!
