With 2023 rapidly approaching, we’ve barely had chance to take a breather and reflect on the amazing progress we’ve made at London Airlinks Golf Course.
Due to open in May 2023, the new course is part of a £multi-million investment by Glendale Golf. Eight years in the making, the result will be a truly unique golf course that’s within easy reach of the city. Taking inspiration from Scotland’s famous links courses, the brand new 18-hole layout features dramatic dunes, burns and water features.
Glenn Dyer is responsible for leading the course maintenance team. They’ve been instrumental in preparing the playing surfaces and the course is really starting to shape up.
Glenn explains: “I’m really happy with the progress we’ve made with the all-important growing-in phase. Overseeding and feed programmes have gone to plan and we’re in a great place as we enter the winter period. We’ve just completed a another overseed application across the entire course and the weather conditions couldn’t have been better.”
This is an important stage to get right, as the course enters winter hibernation. We’re delighted with the progress made this year and there’s much to look forward to in 2023. Work has also started on the floodlit Toptracer®Range and clubhouse cafe/bar.
London Airlinks Golf Course will be a must-visit golfing destination. Sign up for notifications to make sure you don’t miss out on the latest news, pre-launch offers and VIP opening events.
