The Course

The course laid out over 120 acres of beautiful rolling Lancashire countryside is regarded as one of the best courses in the North West. We are known for being accessible and affordable with a stunning array of holes to challenge golfers of all abilities.
Don't be fooled into thinking that this golf course is for the experts only. Thanks to a high standard of maintenance and the clever use of large greens and often generous fairways, the less experienced players are still able to enjoy themselves.

What our customers say

Frequently asked questions

Do you have to be a member?

Visitors are more than welcome. Simply pay a green fee and enjoy a day’s golf! If you’re thinking of joining then check out our Loyaltee membership – flexible to suit everyone.

Do I have to play golf to a certain standard?

No, we welcome everyone regardless of their playing experience or ability. Just bear in mind that we can get very busy on weekends, so newcomers to golf might feel more comfortable playing at other times.

What's the dress code?

There is no dress code – simply wear outdoor clothing that feels comfortable. We do recommend golf shoes or sturdy walking shoes, so that you have good grip in all weather conditions.

Do the courses get busy?

Like most popular courses, we can get busy especially during peak times such as weekend mornings. Please make an allowance for the extra time it might take to play a round during busier times.

Do I need my own set of clubs?

We ask that each golfer uses a set of clubs. We don’t allow sharing as this can slow down play. We hire quality sets at the clubhouse.

How do I book a round?

For the best price, we recommend that you book online as you’ll get at least 10% off our normal prices. You can also call us on 01257 265 380. Please check in at the clubhouse reception at least 20 minutes before your tee time.
