When will the courses reopen?
Like us, we’re sure you’ll be eagerly awaiting news of when you can return to play golf. As always, your safety will always be our priority, so when we do reopen please expect to see some changes to our normal business.
While we don’t have all the answers right now, we’ve put together some answers to some of the questions we’ve been asked:
When are the courses likely to reopen?
Many other countries have started to allow golf courses to reopen and we expect the UK to do the same, but with some clear conditions (for example, no clubhouse food & beverage service). We will be closely monitoring official guidance, but we expect that golf courses will be permitted to reopen from mid-May.
What will happen to my membership?
We suspended all memberships from 23rd March and will automatically resume your membership term from the date we reopen, so you’ll be able to return and play golf without having to do anything further.
We understand that some golfers may be in a vulnerable category, or may not be comfortable venturing out just yet, so we will be pleased to extend your membership suspension. We will be contacting all members directly when we know the exact date of reopening.
Will there be any changes to how I book my tee time?
It is likely that we will move to online-only bookings when we reopen. Most of our customers now book online, so this shouldn’t cause any issues. Did you know that members can also book online? For those that have yet to register for online bookings please complete the form below and we’ll do the rest.
Can I become a member now?
We will be pleased to register your membership prior to reopening, to help speed up the process. Click here to view our membership options and start the registration process. Once registered, we will contact you when we reopen to arrange payment over the phone. If you would prefer to pay monthly, you will need to complete a Direct Debit form on your first visit.
