Here's what to expect when we reopen

Golfers can again return to the fairways on Wednesday 2nd December, following a month-long lockdown throughout England.
Jon Dummett, Head of Golf for Glendale Golf explains: “The Prime Minister announced changes to the current tier system from 2nd December. We are pleased that our local communities can once again enjoy the benefits of golf, with the assurance that we will continue where we left off in November by prioritising the safety and welfare of our staff and customers.”
The revised tier system now means that all Glendale Golf Centres in the south of England fall within tier 2 and our two northern Centres continue in tier 3.
So how will this affect your visit from 2nd December?
Tier 2 (Portsmouth Golf Course, Tilgate Forest Golf Centre, Richmond Park Golf Course and Castle Point Golf Course):
- Golf courses open – maximum 4 golfers per tee time (3 at Richmond Park)
- All tee bookings must be made online, in advance.
- Driving ranges & golf lessons services open (indoor lessons 1-2-1 only or groups from same household only up to 5)
- Clubhouses will be open for takeout food and drink (non-alcoholic only)
- Outdoor dining spaces open (rule of 6 with social distancing, no restriction on no of households)
Tier 3 (Duxbury Park Golf Course and Edwalton Golf Centre)
- Golf courses open – maximum 4 golfers per tee time
- All tee bookings must be made online, in advance
- Driving ranges & golf lessons services return as before (indoor lessons 1-2-1 only or groups from same household only up to 5)
- Clubhouses will be open for takeout food and drink (non-alcoholic only)
- Indoor & outdoor dining spaces closed
All previous COVID safety measures remain in place (2m distancing, face coverings mandatory in clubhouses etc).
