Thanks to everyone taking part in last Friday’s inaugural ‘Stakeholder Golf Day’ at London Airlinks Golf Course. I’m sure you’ll agree it was a fab day out, assisted by some glorious weather!
The event was an opportunity for our colleagues around the Parkwood Group to celebrate the opening of the latest addition to the Glendale Golf family.
A big thanks to the team at London Airlinks for putting on a great event, especially the course maintenance team led by Jack Enoch. For a course that’s only been open for a few weeks, they’ve done an amazing job to create what is sure to become one of London’s most popular golfing destinations.
Also a big shout out to the clubhouse team for their efforts, who easily eclipsed the number of pizzas prepped by the local Dominos!
Now onto the results. With an incredible score of 50.9 net, the team from Portsmouth Golf Course are the new champions. Longest Drive and Closest the Pin winners below – including an amazing wedge shot from Olly Wooster on the 13th to just a few inches – could have been expensive if that went in!

Finally, with your help we raised £925 for Let’s Go Southall – a local group of charities & volunteers working together to help get the community more active.
Thank you for all the positive feedback we received – it looks like these events could be a more regular fixture!
