Avoid the fairway bunkers on the left to be in with a chance of reaching the green in regulation.

The fairway rises gently from tee to green on this straight par 4.
A fairway bunker will catch an errant drive, so aim left and make use of the contours.

The first par 3 of the round and arguably the most challenging.
Large dunes surrounding the green create a dramatic amphitheatre. A par here is a great result!

Don’t let the short distance fool you into thinking this is an easy par.
Anything hit right of the green is an instant reload, unless you’re ‘lucky’ enough to catch the bunker.

One of the most dramatic holes you’ll get to play… on any course!
You tee shot has to be in perfect position for any chance of reaching the green in two.

It’s tempting to take on the corner of this sweeping dogleg par 4.
But that easy birdie you’re eyeing up can easily turn into mission impossible. Position off the tee is everything.

You’re now at highest point on the course, with incredible panaromic views of London’s landmarks.
Wind is always a factor on this par 3 – think carefully about club selection.

A glance at the yardage and you’d think this is an easy par. However, it’s anything but a walkover.
Position off the tee is vital. Aim at the bunkers to set up a short pitch in the green.

Another dogleg par 4 that tempts you with a slice of birdie pie.
You won’t see the green from the tee, but dunes either side of the fairway help guide your shot.

Stand on the tee and you’ll see it’s stroke index one for a reason.
An endless ribbon of fairway eventually meets the green far in the distance. Par is reserved for the lucky few.

After the formidable 11th, a much tamer par 4 awaits.
A tee shot landing to the left side of the fairway helps open up your approach to the green.

The adorable 13th is full of charm, but will be unlucky for some.
Water stretches from tee to green. Come up short and only a bunker will save your Pro V1 from a watery grave.

You tee shot needs to clear the burn that’s 170 yards from the tee.
You’re then left with short shot into a long green that’s guarded by bunkers.

A large tee box can dramatically change the yardage, depending on the location of the markers.
Be sure to club up as this hole is deceivingly long.

Another dogleg and another risk and reward decision to ponder.
Look out for OOB on the left and the large fairway bunker on the apex of the fairway.

A series of fairway bunkers await any overcooked tee shot.
The next challenge is a dramatically undulating green, which can easily turn a dreamy par into a bogey nightmare.

Homeward bound and it’s a rollercoaster ride to the green.
The final hole has a wide, undulating faiway that narrows quickly. Tap in and head to the 19th.
